Tomato Creamy Pasta is a luscious and comforting dish featuring a rich, creamy tomato sauce tossed with perfectly cooked pasta for a quick and satisfying meal.

  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes to the skillet, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream, mixing until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and incorporated.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy tomato sauce until well coated.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

For added protein, serve with grilled chicken or sautéed shrimp. Garnish with extra Parmesan for a richer flavor.
