Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g ground pork
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • For chilli sauce:
  • 3 tbsp chilli garlic sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground pork, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Mix well.
  2. Place about 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold and seal the wontons.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Fry wontons in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together chilli garlic sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, and water to create the chilli sauce.
  5. Serve the fried wontons hot with the chilli sauce drizzled on top or on the side for dipping.

Notes

For extra heat, sprinkle chopped fresh chili or drizzle additional chilli oil over the wontons before serving.
