  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the dry onion soup mix and sour cream.
  3. Brush the melted butter on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Season the chicken with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Spread the sour cream and onion mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
