Pomegranate Glazed Lamb Chops

Succulent lamb chops glazed with a tangy and sweet pomegranate sauce, offering a perfect balance of rich flavors ideal for a special dinner.

  • 8 lamb chops
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Pomegranate seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the lamb chops with salt, pepper, and rosemary on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the lamb chops and sear each side for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Remove the chops and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in pomegranate juice, honey, and balsamic vinegar; simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Return the lamb chops to the skillet and coat them in the glaze, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes for medium-rare doneness.
  8. Plate the lamb chops, spoon extra glaze over them, and garnish with pomegranate seeds before serving.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, serve with a side of roasted vegetables or creamy mashed potatoes.
