Maple Carrot Fries are a sweet and savory twist on classic fries, baked to crispy perfection with a hint of maple syrup glaze. This healthy snack or side dish combines tender carrots with warm spices for a deliciously unique treat.

  • 4 large carrots, peeled and cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the carrot fries with olive oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are tender and edges are caramelized and crispy.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak the carrot fries in cold water for 30 minutes before seasoning, then dry thoroughly.
