  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, and grated ginger.
  3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the chicken thighs skin-side down for 5 minutes until crispy.
  5. Flip the chicken and pour the honey garlic sauce over the thighs.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes, basting occasionally with the sauce.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice or roasted vegetables for a complete meal. For extra spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
