Garlic Butter Salmon

Garlic Butter Salmon is a quick and flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a healthy and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until the edges are opaque.
  5. Flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Drizzle the lemon juice over the salmon and sprinkle with parsley.
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, garnish with freshly chopped dill or serve alongside steamed vegetables or rice.
