Garlic Butter Lemon Salmon

A deliciously simple garlic butter lemon salmon recipe that’s juicy, flavorful, and quick to prepare – perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and zest.
  3. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
