  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. Place the panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the chicken tenders in batches for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, honey, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice to make the dipping sauce.
  9. Serve chicken tenders hot with the dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken tenders in buttermilk for 1 hour before breading. Serve with fresh lemon wedges for a zesty touch.
