Deliciously savory and cheesy, these Cream Cheese Sausage Balls make the perfect appetizer or snack, combining rich cream cheese with flavorful sausage and cheese in every bite.

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the sausage, softened cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
  3. Add Bisquick baking mix, garlic powder, and black pepper to the sausage mixture. Stir until fully incorporated.
  4. Using your hands, form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet, about 1 inch apart.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chopped jalapeños to the mixture. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
