This festive Christmas Morning Quiche features a flaky crust filled with savory eggs, cheese, and fresh vegetables, perfect for a cozy holiday breakfast.

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion and red bell pepper until soft, about 5 minutes. Add spinach and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  5. Spread the cooked vegetables and crumbled bacon evenly over the pie crust.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese over the vegetables and bacon.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the fillings in the crust.
  8. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the quiche is set and the top is lightly golden.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For an extra festive touch, garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs or serve alongside warm cranberry sauce.
