Chocolate-Filled Nutella Crescent Rolls

Delight in these golden, flaky crescent rolls filled with creamy Nutella, perfect for a quick dessert or breakfast treat.

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/3 cup Nutella
  • 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  3. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of Nutella onto the wide edge of each triangle. Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top if desired.
  4. Roll up each triangle starting from the wide edge toward the point, sealing the edges gently.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk the egg with water to create an egg wash. Brush each roll with the egg wash for a golden finish.
  6. Place rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.

Notes

For an extra indulgent touch, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle with melted chocolate.
