Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté chopped onions until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

  5. Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating the individual buns.
  6. Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
  7. Place cheddar cheese slices over the beef layer.
  8. Add pickles evenly on top of the cheese.
  9. Cover with the top half of the rolls and place the sliders on a baking sheet.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and rolls are warm.
  11. Slice sliders apart and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a slice of jalapeño or a dash of hot sauce before baking.
