Brussels Sprouts Caesar

A fresh twist on the classic Caesar salad featuring shredded Brussels sprouts tossed in a creamy, tangy Caesar dressing with crunchy croutons and Parmesan cheese.

  • 4 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and shredded
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: anchovy filets or anchovy paste

Instructions

  1. Trim and shred the Brussels sprouts using a sharp knife or food processor.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the shredded Brussels sprouts with lemon juice and Caesar dressing until well coated.
  3. Add grated Parmesan cheese and toss lightly to combine.
  4. Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. Just before serving, add croutons to maintain their crunch.
  6. Optionally, mix in anchovy filets or anchovy paste for a more authentic Caesar flavor.

Notes

For added protein, top the salad with grilled chicken or crispy bacon. Serve immediately to keep croutons crunchy.
