Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced

  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth

  2. Add onion and mushrooms to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
  3. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in beef broth until smooth.
  4. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and stir in sour cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Return beef to the skillet and simmer for 5-10 minutes, or until heated through.
  6. Serve hot over cooked egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use full-fat sour cream. Serve with a side of crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
