Crispy on the outside and filled with warm, cinnamon-spiced apples, these Air Fryer Apple Pie Bombs are a quick and delicious dessert perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a clean surface and cut into 4 equal squares.
  3. Spoon the apple mixture into the center of each puff pastry square.
  4. Fold the pastry over the filling, pinching the edges to seal and create a “bomb” shape.
  5. Brush each apple pie bomb with beaten egg to help them brown.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
  7. Place the pie bombs in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.

Notes

For an extra indulgent treat, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
